You can't always get too excited when it comes to pre-season games but there's definitely reason to get your club football fix back over the next few days because there's some tasty-looking contests.

Once again, the International Champions Cup pre-season tournament is running and features the very best Europe's elite has to offer.

The main leg is in the United States, but there will also be high-profile action in Austria and Singapore and it all gets underway in the early hours of Saturday if you're in the UK.

At 2am BST time, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund will play out the Jadon Sancho derby at Soldier Field in Chicago, where Riyad Mahrez looks set to make his debut after joining for a club-record £60 million fee.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, paired in the same Champions League group last season, will square off in Austria. The game at Wörthersee Stadion is at a much more convenient time for folks on these shores as it's a 3pm kick-off.

This Sunday, you've got a lovely-looking game to look forward to as Liverpool face off against Jurgen Klopp's former side, Borussia Dortmund. 9pm BST time, Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte is when and where it's all going down.

Then we get to Thursday 26 July, which is when we have a stacked day of ICC clashes. Juventus and Bayern Munich, two clubs with a strong working relationship, play one another in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, at 12am UK time.

Just an hour later, two games kick off at the same time as Dortmund and Benfica meet in Pittsburgh - and over at the MetLife Stadium there's the all-Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, who many are tipping as the team to challenge Pep Guardiola's side for the title after their tidy summer dealings.

But if you thought that was the end of the footballing feast you'd be wrong - Spurs-Roma is at 3am BST time followed by AC Milan against Manchester United an hour later at the StubHub Center.

If you've managed to get through that all-nighter, you might also want to set your alarm for lunchtime, when Europa League winners Atletico Madrid take on Arsenal, the side they beat in the quarter finals on route to lifting the prize, at the Singapore National Stadium.

While they are just friendlies at the end of the day, and there will be a fair few of key players missing, plenty of these games will be on our screens and should make for some decent viewing.
