Mohamed Salah has reportedly been declared fit the World Cup. Phew. But there's another global star who could potentially miss the World Cup.

Enter; Nicklas Bendtner.

The Danish striker pulled up with an injury for Rosenborg on Sunday, and it's claimed he'll be absent for his national side in Russia.

FFS!

A footballing summer party without Bendtner just doesn't seem right. Is it really a World Cup without the 'Lord'?!

Fear not.

A petition has surfaced asking FIFA to delay the World Cup until Bendtner is fit.

Denmark will need their big guns if they want to secure a spot in the knockout stages, who are in Group C alongside of one favourites France, Australia and Peru.

The brilliant petition created by Soccer Memes reads: "Earlier this week, Rosenborg striker Nicklas Bendtner came off injured with tears in his eyes vs Brann Bergen.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic once said the World Cup is no World Cup without Zlatan which is obviously horse sh** because they're still holding it without him. But a World Cup without Nicklas Bendtner is downright blasphemous.

"We are not unreasonable. We understand that injuries are commonplace in football and that Bendtner is only human. So what we propose is not canceling the World Cup but merely delaying it until such a time that Nicklas Bendtner is able to compete in it.

"We are also open to the idea of enforcing a rule that would see all players forced to play on one foot (whichever one Bendtner did not injure) so as to allow him to compete."

Do the right thing and sign the petition.

Here's your chance.
