Steven Caulker's career is about to take an incredibly bizarre twist.
At 25, Caulker has already had a bit of a strange time in the game of football. He was a youngster at Spurs, had three loan spells away with Yeovil Town, Bristol City and Swansea City and then returned to White Hart Lane to become a regular in the side in the 2012/13 campaign.
The central defender moved to Cardiff for £8 million just before the 2013/14 campaign, was relegated with the Welsh side, signed for QPR before suffering relegation yet again.

He spent the first part of the 2015/16 season on loan at Southampton, barely featured and then somehow managed to get a second loan of the season at Liverpool, where he was used as a striker in the final minutes of games by Jurgen Klopp.
Caulker has figured for QPR in the Championship this term but is now signing with Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow, joining on loan.
The club posted several teasing posts on social media, in relation to their new addition.

It's certainly a very peculiar transfer - a view that is shared by many people on social media.
Although it is an extremely random move, we all know that it's not the weirdest thing to happen on Deadline Day, as that achievement (if you can call it that) sadly goes to Sky Sports News presenter Alan Irwin, who had a dildo shoved in his ear outside Everton's training ground a couple of years back.

He'll be hoping for a much smoother day on the job today...
