The Top 25 Players With The Most Goal Contributions In 2020

Robert Lewandowski finished 2020 as the highest-performing player in terms of goal contributions.

The Polish talisman was in fine form across the calendar year and deservedly picked up the FIFA Men's Best Player award after his deadly displays for treble-winning Bayern Munich.

In total, Lewandowski had 60 goal contributions - 45 goals and 15 assists - meaning he is the top contributor of all players in the top ten leagues.

Lionel Messi finished ten behind Lewandowski on 50 in 44 games. The six-time Ballon d'Or winner notched 26 and laid on another 24 for his Barcelona teammates.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo one behind his long-time rival after managing 49 overall. The 35-year-old struck 41 times and registered eight assists overall.

Ronaldo's Portugal teammate Bruno Fernandes, who he helped persuade sign for Manchester United, was involved in 48 goals after making a breathtaking start to life in English football.

Fernandes played 50 games in 2020 and justified £55 million fee with 28 goals and 20 assists, almost single-handedly transforming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side into title contenders.

Ciro Immobile, (47), Kylian Mbappe (45), Thomas Muller (42), Romelu Lukaku (41) and Erling Haaland (39) are all in the top ten after doing the business, with Mo Salah (36) and Harry Kane (36) closely following behind.

Heung-Min Son and Marcus Rashford both contributed to 33 goals for Spurs and Manchester United respectively, with Karim Benzema, Anthony Martial ,Kevin De Bruyne, Artem Dzyuba and Hakan Calhanoglu all finishing on 32.
