Sir Bobby Charlton has been named the greatest England player of all time.
The Manchester United legend was an integral part of England's memorable and solitary World Cup triumph in 1966 on home soil.
A survivor of the Munich Air disaster in 1958 which claimed the lives of many of his United teammates, Charlton would go on to score 49 goals in 106 appearances across 12 years in a Three Lions shirt.
Fans over at Ranker gave the 82-year-old 373 upvotes and 146 downvotes, pipping his former teammate Bobby Moore, who garnered 339 upvotes and 155 downvotes to come in second place.
Wayne Rooney, who broke Charlton's goalscoring record for both club and country, bizarrely sits in eighth position - behind the likes of Steven Gerrard, David Beckham Frank Lampard, Gordon Banks and Alan Shearer.

Kevin Keegan and Stanley Matthews, both superstars of their respective eras, complete the top 10.
England striker heroes such as Gary Lineker, Michael Owen, Jimmy Greaves and Peter Crouch all feature, while somehow Adam Lallana - the only England player on the list still playing - gets in at number 24, ahead of Manchester United legend Bryan Robson.
Even more bizarrely, Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy makes the cut despite only being capped twice for England.

Notably there is no place for Paul Gascoigne, one of the most gifted and entertaining players ever to play for England.
