The 2010's officially belong to Sergio Aguero, who finishes the decade as the top scorer in the Premier League.

Aguero bagged his 174th goal in the Premier League in City's 2-0 win over Sheffield United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to finish what has been a remarkable decade for the Argentine.

He joined City for a fee of £38 million in 2011 from Atletico Madrid and scored 23 league goals in his debut season - his final one being that last-gasp winner against QPR to win the league in stoppage time.

'Kun' has won a further three league titles at City and despite persistent injury problems, has only failed to hit 20 goals in two separate seasons - in 2012/13 and 2013/14,

The Independiente youth product won the Golden Boot in 2014/15 when he bagged 26 in the league and his contributions mean he is quite possibly the best Premier League player of the decade.

Harry Kane's excellent goalscoring record sees him in second on 136 goals - which is incredibly impressive considering he wasn't really a regular in the Spurs side until circa 2014.

Wayne Rooney's goals dried up towards the end but his form at the start of the decade was enough to put him in third place on 114, one ahead of Romelu Lukaku, who bagged plenty for West Brom, Everton and Manchester United before his switch to Serie A.

Robin Van Persie finished two shy of a century of Premier League goals for Arsenal and Manchester United, while Leicester City talisman Jamie Vardy occupies sixth spot with 97 goals after starting the decade playing in Non-League football.

Eden Hazard lies in seventh after scoring 85 goals, seven more than his former teammate Olivier Giroud in eighth.

Raheem Sterling is in ninth on 77 goals thanks to his blistering form under Pep Guardiola, with Liverpool's Sadio Mane one behind on 76.

Here is the list in full:
