The Premier League has whet fans' appetite for the new season by creating a YouTube channel and uploading some amazing content.

England's top-tier domestic league made its debut on the video-sharing platform on Tuesday and has shown exactly why fans should subscribe to its channel.

The account has already uploaded 47 videos at the time of this writing -- and there's a wide variety of content to choose from.

Videos included on the channel range from the 1992-93 season up to the 2018-19 campaign.

Fans can sit through 'football shorts,' which range from 20 minutes to 30 minutes, and watch the likes of Alan Shearer, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry and Fernando Torres score some absolute beauties.

Most fans were surprised by the fact that the Premier League didn't have a YouTube channel already, but many supporters have high hopes for the content that will be uploaded.

"Premier League Years needs to be uploaded," one fan wrote on Reddit.

Someone else posted: "Honestly stupid they havent had a youtube channel yet, for the biggest football league in the world to not have one just seems bizzare. Anyway its here now lets hope its good [sic]."

A third said: "I went to the 2007/08 one immediately because all I remember are the 8-1, Luke Young's screamer, and that Ronaldo freekick. And apparently that season we just conceded screamer after screamer, we're on there pretty much every minute of the video conceding another one [sic]."

A fourth added: "So much content in there, but at least I know how I'll be spending these next few hours."

The Premier League season will begin on Friday when Liverpool host Norwich City at Anfield on Friday.

A supercomputer has already been used to predict the winner of the Premier League next season and the three teams that will be relegated.

Who will win the league title next season?
