The Moment Antonio Conte Offered Out Ever Banega After He Said 'Let's See If This Wig Is Real'

The full video of Antonio Conte and Ever Banega's altercation in last night shows just how heated things got on the touchline.

Inter boss Conte, known for being incredibly animated on the touchline, was venting early on in the first half when his side were not awarded a second penalty.

Referee Danny Makkelie brandished a yellow card to Conte for his conduct.

Banega, who was playing his final game in a Sevilla shirt, took issue with Conte's remonstrations and the two squared off as Lucas Ocampos and Marcelo Brozovic tried to diffuse the situation.

They didn't get too close to one another but the following video from BT Sport appears to show the exact moment Banega mocked Conte's hair, which clearly irked him.

He can be seen rubbing his hair in what is a dig at the former Chelsea boss having a transplant after balding during his playing career.

An angry Conte was doing plenty of finger-pointing as a member of his staff attempted to calm him down.

According to Italian media outlets, Banega said: "Let's see if this wig is real" - which prompted Conte to tell the Argentine: "I'll see you after the game" - or words to that effect.

It's not known whether the two did have it out after Sevilla won a sixth Europa League in 14 years but Conte did not want to talk about the spat post-match.

"I was a footballer, and what happens out on the pitch stays on the pitch," Conte said as per Metro.

"'I don't think it's any of your business what went on with Banega, if I'm completely honest."
