The Incredible Moment South Korea Under 19's Hit The Woodwork Three Times In Two Seconds

The Incredible Moment South Korea Under 19's Hit The Woodwork Three Times In Two Seconds

South Korea's Under 19's somehow managed to hit the woodwork three times in a matter of seconds in their AFC Under 19 Championship game against Vietnam.

The clip has quickly gone viral on social media after the incredible scenes. The striker is fed inside the area, spins away from the defender and sees his effort bounce against both posts after the goalkeeper gets a slight touch.

But then the horrendous luck continues. When the ball drops invitingly for an attacker inside the six yard box, you're thinking they will finally get that goal.

Yet the player following up conjures up one of the worst misses of the year, smashing the ball against the crossbar and seeing the ball bounce away from danger.

Fortunately though, they went on to win 3-1 so all wasn't bad in the end. Still, it really was something straight out of FIFA 19 - the only thing missing was some controllers getting smashed.

One chap on reddit experienced a near carbon-copy of the incident and being honest, we're getting angry just watching it.

With the score at 1-1, he attacks down the left and whips a brilliant ball in for James Maddison to get on the end of.

The Leicester City No.10 does just that but sees his left-footed effort crash against the post but then both Marcus Rashford and Lucas Moura hit the woodwork when following up.

The opposition goalkeeper than collects the ball in his grasp after the third strike hits the post and that's the end of the move.

We're still trying to work out how he's not scored. Then, to make matters so much worse, the bloke revealed he went on to lose the game 2-1! Infuriating stuff.
