The Iceland 'Viking' Clap Has Been Added To The FIFA World Cup Mode

It's worth playing just for this...

In exciting news if you like realism in FIFA games, Iceland's trademark 'Viking clap' has been added to the game as part of the World Cup mode.

The free add-on was officially released and available to download, withall 32 qualified nations featured on the game for you to play out the tournament yourself before it gets underway on 14 June, while you can even add in the likes of Chile, Italy and the USA with a Custom tournament if you fancy.

Iceland, embarking on their first ever appearance at a World Cup finals, have been added to the extension having not previously been a playable nation on FIFA 18's international sides.

But not only are Gylfi Sigurdsson and the gang included, the minnows also come with their trademark victory celebration.

Every time Iceland win on the World Cup, they perform their signature clap in sync with their rabid supporters and it looks as incredible as it did at Euro 2016 when Heimir Hallgrímsson's side enjoyed a fairytale run to the quarter finals and famously knocked out England along the way during their memorable major tournament debut.

The World Cup mode is worth playing alone just to see the unbelievable post-match scenes from Iceland, as well as being able to play with Nigeria's spicy home kit.

A final much-appreciated addition to the add-on is Mo Salah finally having his face updated so he looks like himself and not Javier Mascherano.

The squads need some updating as they are a bit over the place but it does seem like EA will be rectifying their errors before the action commences.

Still, make sure you gear up for Russia's showpiece by getting on the FIFA World Cup mode hype - and of course try and lead Iceland to glory...
