It appears a training session went off at Bayern Munich.

The German champions are miles ahead of their nearest competition in the Bundesliga, while heading into the Champions League return leg against Besiktas with a cool five-goal advantage.

Despite their prolific form this campaign, two important members of Jupp Heynckes' side were involved in a heated training ground spat.

According to reports from renown German outlet Bild, Robert Lewandowski and Mats Hummels clashed.

Here's what was said in a training match with the pair on the same side, after they conceded a goal:

Hummels: "Are you serious? You're seriously tying your shoes? Holy shit. Shut up."

Lewandowski: "You just lost the ball."

Hummels: "That's a mistake. But with you, that's the attitude."

Lewandowski: "Mats you constantly lose the balls, just talk."

Hummels: "Oh, shut up! Get lost."

Further reports suggest no apology was said between the players, not even a handshake.

Is there trouble brewing at Bayern?

Meanwhile, the lethal Polish striker has been subject to intense transfer speculation with reports linking him with a move away.

Naturally, Europe's elite have been alerted including Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid who are reportedly Lewandowski's dream club.

Despite the rampant reports, Lewandowski has weighed in with 20 goals from just 23 league games this season, not to mention five in Europe.

Bayern are back in league action this weekend when they travel to Freiburg.
