One swing of the right boot was enough for Jurgen Klopp to realise that he needed to sign Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg and now Liverpool are closing in on the capture of the Japanese international.
Minamino was part of Jesse March's exciting side that played their part in a seven-goal thriller at Anfield, scoring a tidy volley and wowing Klopp in the process.
His fine finish made it 3-2 on the night in a game the Austrian outfit eventually lost but it was at this exact moment that Klopp knew he had to sign the 24-year old.
There was a shake of their head from Klopp, who then let out a grin after being impressed by what he just saw from Minamino.

So impressed in fact, that mere days after he played against Liverpool on Tuesday, the Reds have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sign Minamo for what looks like a dirt-cheap £7.25 million.
The versatile Japan international has nine goals and 11 assists in all competitions this season and Liverpool will be beating off competition from elsewhere to sign him in January.

He will also be able to play for the European Cup winners in the knockout stages of the Champions League after UEFA changed the rule.
