Simon Mignolet has revealed that Jurgen Klopp fined Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold for a bizarre reason.
When players are given fines by their club, often it stems from stepping out of line, being late for training or some form of contract breach.
However, in the case of Mane and Alexander-Arnold, they were both fined by Klopp because they didn't inform the German of their sleeping patterns. No, really.

Mignolet says Klopp and his team utilise an app which the first-team squad have to regularly update with information in regards to how much sleep they are getting and how they are feeling.
And one occasion, the two players failed to do and so were punished by Klopp.

Asked who receives the most fans by Sky Sports, Mignolet said:
"I'd say Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been fined the most over the previous months.
"We have to fill in an app every morning to say how much sleep we had, how good we feel before every training, and they keep forgetting.
"They ask how long you've slept, the quality of how you sleep, how you feel, whether you have stiffness or not."

Talk about attention to detail from Jurgen Klopp. In the same interview, Mignolet revealed that Adam Lallana is the teacher's pet, Gini Wijnaldum is the "geek" of the group, but he also tipped James Milner and Jordan Henderson as future managers.
He added: "I think the obvious answer is the skipper, Jordan Henderson, and James Milner, the experienced boys. It's always difficult to say, when you are playing you are only focused on your job as a football player."
