Since making his Barcelona debut as a 17-year old in October 2004, Lionel Messi has scored 534 goals for the club and pretty much destroyed any team he has come against.
However, of all the teams the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has come up against, just 12 have been fortunate enough to not feel the wrath of Messi - tonight's opponents Chelsea being one of them.
The Argentine ace has come up against the Stamford Bridge club on eight occasions but in 655 minutes of action, he has failed to get on the scoresheet against the blues; famously missing a penalty in the dramatic 2-2 Champions League semi-final second leg in 2012.
In terms of the other eleven clubs, Messi hasn't scored against Barca's Catalan neighbours Gramenet and Girona, as well as Spanish sides Real Murcia, Xerez and Cadiz.

In addition, he has drawn blanks against Benfica, Rubin Kazan and Inter Milan in the Champions League, while Messi grabbed an assist, as opposed to a goal, when he played in the 4-0 Club World Cup final win over Saudi outfit Al-Sadd in 2011. He also failed to score against Italian side Udinese back in 2005.
Messi has undoubtedly had more difficulty against Chelsea than any other team, but you might not be aware that he also didn't score against Liverpool in two Champions League games against the Reds back in 2007 when Rafa Benitez was in charge.
As Messi can attest to, records are there to broken and he could whittle the list down to ten by the time this weekend is over.
The 30-year old will be looking to end his barren spell against Chelsea in tonight's Champions League round of 16 first leg match, while newly-promoted Girona, also on the list, are Barca's next visitors to the Nou Camp on Saturday.
