What Pep Guardiola Said To Bristol City Manager Lee Johnson At The Full-Time Whistle Is Brilliant

Shortly after Bristol City's courageous 2-1 defeat at the Etihad on Tuesday night, Bristol City manager Lee Johnson revealed what Pep Guardiola told him after the full-time whistle.

Manchester City manager Guardiola told Johnson that the Championship side played better than most of the Premier League teams that have come to Manchester City.

Pep's statement is certainly hard to disagree with.

In the first half, in-form striker Bobby Reid found the net from the penalty spot after Mangala's rash challenge in the area.

Shortly after Bobby Reid netted from the penalty spot against Pep Guardiola's side, the injured Benjamin Mendy took to Twitter to express 'the only good thing about the goal'.

Bristol City produced this outstanding GIF of Reid using a fire extinguisher:

Minutes later, Mendy tweeted his appreciation of the tweet, but said: "Only good thing with this goal : new GIF from now let's go boys!!!"
