After a number of clubless months, it is being heavily reported that Emmanuel Adebayor is on the verge of completing a deal to sign for Arabian Gulf League side Al Wasl.

Adebayor, who was released from Crystal Palace back in June this year, has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks but it looks like the former Arsenal and Spurs forward is finally, and we mean finally, ready to join a new team but who are they?

Al Wasl, who's squad is mostly made up of Brazilians and UAE players, are a United Arab Emirates club who are managed by former Villarreal manager Rodolfo Arruabarrena. The club only have a ground capacity of 8,411.

FACT: Diego Maradona managed the club from May 16th, 2011 - July 10th, 2012.

The UAE's transfer window closes at midnight tonight, and French publication L'Equipe believe Adebayor will move to Al-Wasl in the coming hours.

A good move for the 32-year-old?
