A classy Christmas gesture...

Luke Shaw treated staff at Manchester United's training ground to luxury hampers from Harrods as a token of his appreciation.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the England left-back has done similar before, buying from Fortnum and Mason.

And he came up with another generous gesture this year, paying for 30 £200 hampers and dishing them out to the those who look after the United squad at their AON training complex.

It's said the gesture was "well-received" by employees.

Shaw also invited four special guests to watch United's 4-1 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford, with some of his old school teachers attending the game and meeting up with them after the game.

"Good result today but was even more special to see my old school teachers that did so much for me and I have a lot to thank them for," the former Southampton defender wrote on Instagram.

A lot was made about Jose Mourinho lacking in people skills but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already brought back the positivity to United, it seems.

Three wins from three and a whole lot more excitement and enjoyment is what Solskjaer has delivered since returning to the club as interim boss.

Solskjaer set to the tone upon his arrival back at United as his first gesture was to gift Kath Phipps, the club's receptionist of 50 years, with a bar of Norwegian chocolate.
