What is the meaning of life? Is there a God? What is the secret to happiness? Here we have just three of life's most persistent and unanswerable questions.
There are so many unanswered questions that constantly baffle the mind but today, on Friday the 28th of December 2018, one of the biggest questions in my life was finally solved.
How are Xherdan Shaqiri's legs so bloody massive?
It is well-documented that the Liverpool forward has always maintained an incredibly bulgy leg, whether than be during his days at FC Basel, Bayern Munich or Inter Milan.

His legs have grown even bigger down the years, more recently spells with Stoke City and current club Liverpool.
They are absolutely massive, so how does he maintain such a strong leg?
A clip with international teammate Eren Derdiyok showcases his intense workouts and it genuinely hurts to watch. Just take a look at the above footage and tell me this wouldn't burn.

Shaqiri definitely doesn't skip leg day and on his first training session for Liverpool after joining in the summer window, many pointed out the obvious.
JUST LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THEM!
Shaqiri has been in scinetaliting form for Liverpool in recent weeks, scoring twice against Manchester United earlier this month to top off an impressive month for the Swiss international.
But once upon a time, Shaqiri and a certain Gary Neville had a bit of bad blood after the latter called him "unprofessional" and a "disgrace" following Stoke City's relegation to the Championship.

After sealing his £13.5 million move to Liverpool, though, Shaqiri hit back in an interview with The Telegraph.
"They [the Nevilles] were Manchester United players. Maybe they don't like Liverpool! Some people like you, some people don't like you. I don't want to comment on what is said by people I don't know," he said.
"I think I played three years already in the Premier League and I've proved I can play here. I can score goals and give assists. I know the league well. I have a lot of experience. I think my score points speak for themselves. I was the top scorer in the team with goals and assists, so I don't have to say any more.
"I think everybody knows that [I was the best player last season]. My conscience is clear."

Then, in August, Neville ended up wearing a signed shirt from Shaqiri on Monday Night Football after losing a bet with Carragher.
