Timo Werner's Transfer To Real Madrid Might Fall Through Because Of His Ears
RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has attracted the interest of European clubs in recent months after netting 11 goals in 18 games this season.
Despite his wonderful form of late, Spanish publication Marca have reported that Werner's move to Real Madrid is in doubt because of a problem with his ears. I repeat, a problem with his ears.
Werner suffers from circulation and breathing problems because of the loud noises during games, and as a result, the 21-year-old wears ear plugs.
Back in September, when RB Leipzig took on Besiktas in the Champions League, the German striker was substituted because the loud noise in the stadium was causing him problems.
The 21 year old, as reported by the Telegraph, asked for ear plugs at the beginning of the game but that didn't help him and he still asked to be removed after just 31 minutes.

After the match, Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl said: "It is impossible to prepare your team for an atmosphere like this. There was a deafening noise [and] at the start of the game we were a bit affected."
Bild reported that the player was suffering from circulatory problems and dizziness and Werner said after the match to Turkish reporters: "I have never seen such an atmosphere in my life. I could not focus on the match. I asked for a headset, and it did not help either. I still do not feel well."

Werner has built a reputation as one of the best young forwards in Europe, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly keen, as well as Real Madrid.
But a move could be scuppered with suitors apparently put off by Werner's ear problems, which have caused circulatory and dizziness in the past.
