La Masia wonderkid Gavi has been compared to Barcelona legend Xavi after dropping a midfield masterclass in his side's pre-season friendly match against Stuttgart.
Goals from Memphis Depay, Yusuf Demir and Riqui Puig secured a 3-0 win for Barcelona on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
But Barcelona fans' full attention was placed on 16-year-old Gavi, who was superb in driving his side's attack and providing defensive coverage.

The Spanish midfielder denied Stuttgart from pulling one back before half-time with a sensational piece of defending.
Fans have also been left in awe at Gavi's composure in dictating the play from midfield, confidently finding space and picking out his teammates with ease.

Gavi's impressive performance against Stuttgart has left fans believing that Barcelona have finally "found a replacement for Xavi."

The talented La Masia midfielder already showed why he is rated so highly with his fantastic display against Girona in Barcelona's 3-1 win last month.
Barcelona will resume their pre-season campaign on Wednesday against RB Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena in Austria.
