Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wrote his name into the Borussia Dortmund record book last night with a hat-trick during BVB's DFB-Pokal tie against Rielasingen-Arlen, yesterday.
The Gabonese striker's trio of goals means he is now Dortmund's all time leading foreign goal scorer, with 124 goals.
Swiss striker Stephane Chapuisat previously held the record, with 123 goals scored over the course of his eight year spell with the Bundesliga giants. Aubameyang has managed to break the Switzerland international's record in almost half that time.

Aubameyang's overall record now stands at an incredible 124 strikes in 191 matches. It's a run of form that has brought him to the attention of many of Europe's top clubs over the past couple of years, with the 28-year-old being heavily linked with Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and, most recently, his former club AC Milan.
Despite never making a senior appearance during his time as a youngster with the Rossoneri, Aubameyang has admitted to being open to a return to the San Siro during recent interviews.
In fact, during a Live Instagram question and answer session last night, Aubameyang fielded a question about his future and a potential return to Milan, saying there was nothing he could do if the Rossoneri are 'sleeping'.

With just over two weeks of the transfer window remaining, Dortmund's record foreign goal scorer could still yet leave the club. Although with Ousmane Dembele's future still hanging in the balance amid interest from Barcelona, Dortmund will be doing all they can to ward off any other interest in Aubameyang.
