Ladies and gentlemen, meet Alessio, a 12-year-old Napoli fan who was able to realise his dream this week.

Alessio was invited to lead a chant during the club's Serie A match against Empoli after the Napoli ultras invited the young boy, who is currently battling cancer, into the Curva B stand.

The Diamo Una Mano charity organised the occasion for Alessio, who was able to fulfill his lifetime dream of leading the Azzurri's ultras fan group.

As you can imagine, the video of Alessio leading the chant has gone viral, with many Napoli fans wanting to meet him before and after the game.

The ultras left Alessio with a touching message: "Today you were in charge of the Curva B. Now go and win your game!"

Here's the incredible clip:

The Diamo Una Mano: volontariato a 360º charity association posted the following pictures on Facebook:

"Alessio started up a chant and everybody went mad. We wept with emotion when the curva gave him the gift of such a happy moment after so much suffering."
