Luke Shaw heroically fought through the pain of broken ribs during his scintillating run of form for England at this summer's Euro 2020, according to stunning reports.
The 26-year-old left-back was on the bench for England's opening Euro 2020 win over Croatia at Wembley.
However, Shaw then started all of England's following Euros matches en route to Gareth Southgate's men reaching the final.

The England international excelled at left-back and even earned the praise of Brazil legend Roberto Carlos for his superb performance against Ukraine in the quarter-finals.
Shaw was taken off in the second half of England's 4-0 thumping of Ukraine at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
However, the United star played the full 120 minutes in England's 2-1 win over Denmark at Wembley.
Shaw opened the scoring against Italy at Wembley inside the first two minutes, but England would miss out on the Euro 2020 title after a penalty shootout defeat in the final.

The Daily Telegraph now reports that the United full-back suffered the suspected injury in England's sensational 2-0 last-16 win over Germany at Wembley.

The newspaper added that the Red Devils want to bring the former Southampton star back to their Carrington training complex and assess his current injury.
And United are desperate to learn how long it will take for Shaw to recover and how much of the Red Devils' pre-season campaign he would miss.
Shaw is currently in Greece on a much-needed holiday after England fell short of lifting their first major silverware since the 1966 World Cup.

United's pre-season training has already started and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men defeated Derby County 2-1 at Pride Park on Sunday.
The Red Devils will play against Queens Park Rangers, Brentford, Preston and Everton before the start of the new Premier League season in August.
