When a five-time Ballon d'Or winner compliments a player, that player must be something special and that's exactly what Andres Iniesta is - special.
Not many players come close to Lionel Messi's extraordinary talents but in a recent extract from Andres Iniesta's autobiography, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner praised his teammate with a host of impressive compliments.
Since 2004, both Iniesta and Messi have enjoyed a highly successful time at Barcelona.
The pair have won eight La Liga titles and have lifted an incredible four Champions League trophies together.
Now, Messi has paid Iniesta the ultimate compliment:

"When you're a kid playing on the streets you take on board things that are very useful to you later. You get used to playing with older players and not changing your game because of that; you play your way.
"Andrés and I are similar in that we both use our bodies a lot, to avoid opponents. But he has something that always amazes me."
"There's always a moment when you think you're going to catch him, when you think you're going to get the ball off him, but you can't.

"He's not especially quick, but he has that ability to always get away from you, which comes from his technique."
Back in 2014, Iniesta said the following about Messi:
"You can't just evaluate Leo for his effectiveness or for numbers. It's the whole thing, him as a player and what he represents, what he does for us and for the team. For me, and I think we can all agree on this, Messi is number one."
Do you agree with Iniesta - Is Lionel Messi still number one?
