Kevin De Bruyne bagged yet another Premier League assist as Manchester City took another step towards the Premier League title by blowing away Everton at Goodison Park.

Then, in the 12th minute, a sublime long goal-kick from from Ederson's sledgehammer of a left foot found Sane, who skilfully flicked the ball over the head of an onrushing Everton defender and played in De Bruyne down the right.
Of course, the Belgian perfectly picked out Gabriel Jesus with a pin-point cross and the Brazilian headed home City's second.

De Bruyne, who plenty are tipping to win the Player of the Year award, registered his 20th assist in all competitions this term, with 15 coming in the league.
Yet the most impressive stat comes from Opta, who say that it was De Bruyne's 42nd assist since returning to the Premier League in the 2015/16.
In that time-frame, no other player n the whole of the top five European leagues comes close to the tally, meaning KDB is well and truly in a league of his own.
