Jordan Flores scored a sensational FIFA Puskas Award contender on Friday with a spectacular volley.

The Dundalk midfielder bagged one of the goals of the season in his side's 3-2 defeat to Shamrock Rovers.

He fired home an absolutely insane volley from a corner, showcasing excellent technique to generate incredible power on the ball.

His mind-blowing strike, which bares resemblance to Gareth Bale's volley against Stoke City, looks even more amazing on replay. Time to gawk.

Needless to say, Flores' acrobatic strike sent social media into overdrive.

"This is some Jackie Chan sh*t," one social media user.

A second tweeted: "It's not even a contender. That's it. That's the goal of the season."

A third added: "Needs to be seen in real time! I watched it first in slow mo and thought it was alright, but you really get the power in real time."

The 24-year-old has pretty much wrapped up the League of Ireland Premier Division goal of the season and he'll also be in the running for the coveted FIFA Puskas Award at The Best awards.
