Harry Kane Scores Against Leicester While Lying Down On The Floor

Harry Kane Scores Against Leicester While Lying Down On The Floor

Talk about an instinctive finish...

Harry Kane has scored plenty of goals for Spurs at the King Power Stadium but his opening goal against Leicester this lunchtime might be the most impressive of them all.

In the 29th minute, after collecting a reverse pass from Heung-Min Son, Kane was bundled over by Foxes defender Çağlar Söyüncü and was knocked off balance.

He could have gone down but the England captain showed great composure and somehow managed to shovel the ball into the net despite virtually being lying down on the floor when he shot.

It really is one of the best pieces of improvisation you will ever see in a football pitch. Kane has received criticism for going down too easy and looking for contact in recent times and so he deserves enormous credit for the manner in which he scored today.

Kane's sublime finish was his 14th goal in 13 games against Leicester and now sees him move to 129 goals in 183 Premier League appearances.
