Jesse Lingard has done it again. He's scored against Arsenal.

The in-form midfielder, who is currently on a season-long loan at West Ham, has impressed under David Moyes since arriving from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old scored twice on his debut against Aston Villa and since, the attacking midfielder been a driving force in the club's push for European football next season, scoring five goals in seven appearances.

It has been a dream start for the re-energised Lingard and on Sunday afternoon, he continued his run of form with a trademark goal against Arsenal in the Premier League.

As he has done time and time again over the years, the England international scored against The Gunners and on this occasion, it was an absolute beauty from range.

He just loves playing against Arsenal. What a finish.

Just minutes later, Lingard grabbed an assist after teeing up Jarrod Bowen to make it 2-0.

Tomas Soucek soon made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute before Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back before the half-time break to make it 3-1.

Lingard, meanwhile, has now been directly involved in seven goals in seven games since joining West Ham - an incredible turnaround after struggling at Old Trafford for months.

Lingard's efforts this weekend come just days after Gareth Southgate handed him a deserved call-up to the England squad.

Southgate is a huge admirer of the Manchester United academy product. He gave him a glowing review when West Ham manager David Moyes approached him for a reference before making the loan signing official.

And although Lingard hasn't appeared for England since June 2019 in the Nations League, he will be in the next England squad ahead of games against San Marino, Albania and Poland.

Does he deserve to be included in the England squad for this summer's European Championships?
