"Are you a TV presenter, you're better than me!"

Gary Neville's scathing assessment of Arsenal's Carabao Cup Final defeat was perhaps his best to date. The Sky pundit and former Manchester United defender labelled their performance as 'spineless', 'pathetic' and 'rubbish.' He wasn't wrong.

Five days later Sky Sports decided to throw Neville back in the commentary box for the Premier League fixture between both teams and well, it didn't exactly go to plan for Arsene Wenger's side.

First half goals from Bernardo Silva, David Silva and Leroy Sane put the game to bed after 33 minutes as a half-empty Emirates looked on.

I'm sure some Arsenal fans predicted that the team would bounce back and turn things around after such a terrible result last weekend - but that didn't happen.

Before kick-off one optimistic supporter, who was visiting the Emirates for the first time, gave an insightful and positive interview while talking to Neville and it soon went viral.

When the pundit asked how he feels Arsenal's season has gone for far, the fan replied: "I'm struggling. You want change. You see Arsene signing a new deal for two years and that's not change. But we're bringing in big players to the club like Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan."

"They are great players but you see their performances on the pitch and at Wembley - a performance where you feel like it's spineless. There's no passion in the side. You see Jack Wilshere playing great and he really loves the club but the rest feel like outsiders. That's a big issue."

"There's no culture right now. How do we solve it? bring in a new manager, establish a new culture and build from now on. Right now, fifth place is the best we can achieve. We need to finish the season with passion and with pride. Do that and I think our fans will be proud."

After this inspiration speech, Neville asked if the man was a TV presenter because, quote "you're better than me."

It was an all round disaster from start to finish for Arsenal and one stat in particular summed up last night's performance.

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson did something Petr Cech has never been able to do at the Emirates. The Brazilian claimed his 17th clean sheet of the season in the 3-0 win over Arsenal, with City completely outclassing the Gunners in the first half and scoring three of the best goals you will see all season.

Ederson's penalty save was his third in a City shirt and in guessing right to palm away Aubameyang's spot-kick, he has made more penalty saves at the Emirates than Cech, who has a big fat zero.

Should the board sack Wenger in the coming days or does he deserve another chance?
