Ireland goalkeeper Colin Doyle displayed an incredible level of commitment over the last few days, turning out for both his country and club two days apart.

The 32-year old was given his second cap for the Republic of Ireland against Turkey, 11 years on from their first time he featured on the international stage.

Doyle would normally have the likes of Darren Randolph, Keiren Westwood and Rob Elliot ahead of him in the pecking order but they were all unable to play and so he got the nod in Friday's 1-0 defeat, where he played the entire game.

Though top-level football has been put on halt in the UK, Doyle's club, League One Bradford City, were in action against Gillingham.

Not wanting to miss out on the game, the former Birmingham man took two flights in 24 hours in order to be in goal for the Bantams' home game at Valley Parade.

His superb dedication was rewarded with a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory, and he received a whole lot of love from fans on Twitter as a result:

After going above and beyond to play 90 minutes for both club and country in two days, Doyle is more than deserving of a relaxing kip!
