Cesc Fabregas has today joined a very elite club, after laying on his 100th Premier League assist, during Chelsea's 4-2 victory over Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas laid on Willian, who put the Premier League leaders into a 3-2 lead against Mark Hughe's men in a hard fought win.

However, the Spanish midfielder's achievement has come in much quicker order than the likes of Ryan Giggs, Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney managed it.
Whereas Giggs, the leading assist maker in Premier League history, took 367 games to reach the 100 mark, Fabregas has taken just 293, meaning the former Arsenal man lays on a goal in just under every three games he plays in the English top flight.

Considering the injuries that have plagued Fabregas' career and the fact he endured a dreadful 2015/16 campaign at Stamford Bridge, his feat is all the more impressive. If he continues in the same vein for Antonio Conte's team, another Premier League winner's medal will surely be finding it's way round Cesc's neck at the end of the season.
