Andre Gomes Just Became The Nicest Guy In Football After Heartwarming Gesture To Fan

What a bloke.

In a gesture that makes you go 'awwww', Everton's summer signing Andre Gomes has earned the respect of many after his heartwarming actions on an open-top bus tour.

The 25-year-old, who arrived at Goodison Park on a season-long loan from Barcelona, noticed that a young supporter was cold, so he walked him into the official club shop and bought him an Everton scarf.

To put the icing on top of the cake, Gomes also bought the youngster - who is a season ticket holder - a jacket, which he later signed.

Sam, who looked in awe at his idol, described it as 'the best day of my life'

Gomes attended the Everton open top bus tour with teammates Lucas Digne, Bernard and Kurt Zouma Zouma, looking at famous landmarks in the area on the now-famous 'If you know your history' tour.

What a kind bloke.

The Spanish midfielder wasn't exactly a hit at Barcelona since he moved from Valencia two seasons ago, and has only 46 games in La Liga, most of them from the bench.

But Gomes has impressed both on and off the pitch during his short time in the Premier League, so perhaps his fortunes will change in the coming months.

Will he be a success at Goodison in the coming months?

Let us know in the comments.
