Alexis Sanchez took roughly 20 minutes to get among the goals at Goodison Park tonight, handing Arsenal the lead with a heavily deflected free-kick against Everton.
And the Chilean's goal on Merseyside takes him further ahead of some seriously strong competition when it comes to goals contributed, this season.

Sanchez has now scored 12 goals (unless the FA's dubious goals panel get involved with his effort tonight and deem it to be an Ashley Williams own goal) and assisted another five, meaning he's been involved in 17 successful attempts already during the 16/17 campaign, which is something Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Robert Lewandowski are unable to say:

Despite some question marks being raised about Sanchez's ability to play as a centre forward, the 27-year-old is proving invaluable in the position this season, with Olivier Giroud restricted to a substitute's role for the majority of the term.

Given the way the former Barcelona man has started at Goodison Park, tonight, he could well add to his tally before the 90 minutes are up.
