"If Beckham wants me in his club, then I'll go."

Ominous words from one of the world's most lethal attackers.

David Beckham's new Major League Soccer side will be named Inter Miami CF. Although it sounds like Inter Milan, it's actually a nod to Miami's Spanish-speaking community.

But his project is far from over following the unveiling of the club crest.

He's targeting marque players for his team. He's reportedly eyeing up Cristiano Ronaldo, who completed a stunning £100 million transfer to Juventus in the summer.

As well as AS Monaco's Radamel Falcao not to mention Wayne Rooney who plies his trade in the States with DC United.

However, Antoine Griezmann has said he's willing to leave Europe for America.

The 2018 World Cup winner has gone on record to say if Beckham wants him, then he's up for leaving Atletico Madrid while also reiterating his desire to finish his professional career in the U.S.

"If Beckham wants me in his club, then I'll go," he told L'Equipe via Goal. "I want to finish my career in the US. I don't know yet if it's going to be in Miami or Los Angeles.

"They are two great cities. I like the mentality and the show culture of the US."

The 27-year-old remains loyal to 'Atleti' following a period of uncertainty.

He was heavily linked with a move to both Manchester United and Barcelona over the years but has stayed foot in the red and white side of Madrid.

Anyway, the Miami based club will begin playing competitively in 2020.

Could they welcome Griezmann? Watch this space.
