Manchester City were one of the favourites to win the Champions League last season until they were unceremoniously dumped out of the quarter-finals by Lyon.

However, FiveThirtyEight's predictions have a 28 per cent chance of Pep Guardiola's men reaching the final and 16 per cent chance of winning the competition this season.

Posted below are FiveThirtyEight's predictions for the 2020-21 season of the Champions League.
