Luis Suarez Appealed For Jara To Be Shown A Card After He Tackled Pitch Invader

Luis Suarez reached peak Luis Suarez levels in the Copa America game between Uruguay and Chile last night when he tried to get Gonzalo Jara carded for tripping up a pitch invader.

In the second half, a bloke with a chicken mask encroached the pitch and it annoyed former West Brom and Nottingham Forest defender Jara.

On the four-year anniversary of him sticking his fingers up Edinson Cavani's backside, Jara proceeded to tackle the pitch invader as he was running away from stewards.

And straight after, Suarez frantically scurried over to the referee in an attempt to try and get Jara booked.

It was the second bit of shithousery from Suarez in the game after he hilariously appealed for a handball when goalkeeper Gabriel Arias saved his cut-back attempt to Cavani.

The former Liverpool star slapped his hand and called for a penalty before remembering the age-old law that goalkeepers are in fact allowed to use their hands in their box.

Only Suarez would appeal for handball against the keeper in the box and try and get someone sent off for tackling a pitch invader.

We look forward to seeing the 32-year old up to his usual tricks again on Saturday in the quarter-final against Venezuela.
