Steven Gerrard has excelled under a number of managers in his career.
He was unplayable under Rafa Benitez, particularly when playing off Fernando Torres and also carried out a deeper playmaking role under Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
But the Liverpool legend says Jurgen Klopp would have been perfect for him in terms of the way they both see football.
Passion is a key trait for both men and that would have made a fruitful combination according to Gerrard.

Speaking as a pundit on BT Sport for Liverpool's narrow 1-0 win over Manchester City yesterday, he said:
"The way I played the game, high intensity and a lot of passion - heavy metal he calls it - I think he would be perfect for me the way I play the game."
Gerrard's retirement means there's next to no chance of seeing Gerrard on the pitch managed by Klopp but seeing them on the touchline together isn't out of question.

The 36-year old has been tipped for a coaching role at Liverpool, with a position in the club's academy most likely.
