Not many people expected Leicester City to put up much of a defence of their Premier League title, this season given the influx of new managers and expenditures from several of the top clubs as well as the fact that N'Golo Kante also departed the King Power stadium over the Summer.
Yet, despite this, no one could have probably foreseen just how little Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez would contribute between themselves, given their almost telepathic understanding at times during the historic Premier League title winning campaign.

In the last 365 minutes of league football the pair have played together, Mahrez has completed just one pass to Vardy and only nine in total all season. In comparison, at the same point of last season, Mahrez had created nine goalscoring opportunities for the England striker.

Mahrez hasn't scored from open play since April and looks nothing like the PFA Player Of The Year that he was last term. Vardy meanwhile, has scored just two goals in 11 league games so far as the Foxes sit just two points above the relegation zone.
