Cristiano Ronaldo's shocking free-kick stats for Juventus have been revealed as the Portuguese superstar has only found the back of the net once in 72 attempts.

The 36-year-old forward has not struggled with his goalscoring form since he signed for Juventus in 2018.

Ronaldo has already scored 30 times in 34 appearances this season, despite Juventus' title defence slipping away.

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner doesn't hold the best record when it comes to free-kicks at Juventus.

According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Ronaldo has only scored once from a free-kick in a whopping 72 attempts from the set piece.

The Portugal captain scored his one and only Juventus free-kick two years after he arrived in Turin.

Ronaldo scored said free-kick in Juventus' 4-1 victory over Torino at the Allianz Stadium.

Despite the poor track record in his Juventus free-kicks, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star has produced some iconic moments from the set piece.

Ronaldo was recently presented with a commemorative GOAT shirt after he surpassed football legend Pele in the goalscoring charts.

The Juventus superstar's future at the Old Lady has been in doubt in recent weeks amid intense transfer speculation linking him with a sensational return to Madrid.

However, Juventus chief football officer Fabio Paratici has insisted that Ronaldo will remain at the Old Lady in the summer.

"We've decided to keep Cristiano Ronaldo," the 48-year-old Italian said.

"He's the best player in the world and he'll stay with us."

Andrea Pirlo has also dismissed speculation surrounding Ronaldo's future as he said the Italian club are "focused on this season and we want to conclude it [the] best way possible."

The Juventus boss explained: "We aren't thinking about it, he has one year left in his contract and we are happy he can continue playing for us.
