Spanish publication Marca have unveiled their top ten players of 2017.
Naturally, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are once again battling for the No.1 spot.
Among the Real Madrid and Barcelona stars are the likes of Harry Kane, Neymar, Gianluigi Buffon and Kevin De Bruyne, to name but a few.

He helped his side regain the La Liga title, while successfully defending the Champions League trophy.

The Portuguese international then capped off the year by bagging the Ballon d'Or, tying with Messi in the process.
While Barcelona failed to hold onto the domestic title, and mount a challenge in Europe, they've started brilliantly this campaign with Messi spearheading their charge on all fronts.

And despite Ronaldo's success, Messi, who starred in the El Clasico, has been named the best player of 2017 according to Marca.
The Madrid-based paper have opted for the Barcelona ace ahead of Ronaldo.
Though Ronaldo is joined in the top ten by teammates Isco (3rd), Luka Modric (5th) and Sergio Ramos (9th).

Spurs' prolific striker, who's been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu, enters the list in at four.
