Kyle Walker answered the question that's on everyone's lips this evening: whether his nose is bigger than Vincent Kompany's forehead.

The Manchester City and England defender was asked the hard-hitting question as part of an Q&A he took part in on the club's Instagram story.

At first, he was asked how many goals/assists he was looking to register in the current season after setting up six goals in his debut campaign with Pep Guardiola's side.

But then gears were completely switched for the next question as it revolved around his nose and Kompany's 'fod'. Walker didn't shy away from answering it though.

"It's a good debate that, isn't it really?" he responded.

"I've got a big hooter on me but I think his head is absolutely enormous. Luckily he's a lovely man and I like him."

City's captain has indeed got a very big noggin and he's used it to great accord on several occasions for City - memorably scoring a bullet header to win the 2012 Manchester derby and setting the side on their way to their first Premier League title a couple of weeks later.

Premier League winner Walker was also asked questions about John Stones being fit, his best pal at City and his favourite moment from last season.

But what we really want to know is why he cuts so many large holes in his socks. As per The Mirror, it seems as a kitman, or even Walker himself, has made the incisions on the back of his socks in an attempt to relieve tension and prevent pain in the lower leg muscles.

The Sheffield United youth product is yet to confirm it as of yet though, but hopefully he will have his say very soon.
