Ole Gunnar Solskjær's arrival at Manchester United means that fans are already expecting a big transformation for the Red Devils.

Former manager José Mourinho was sacked on Tuesday and the 45-year-old Norwegian was appointed as caretaker manager on Wednesday.

The Special One had a mixed relationship with Paul Pogba, with the two dominating the headlines on many occasions this season.

So, how will the World Cup-winning Frenchman do under Solskjær?

Well, it seems like the future is bright for the United star!

According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils boss said in August that he would build his team around Pogba.

"I would [build the team around him], absolutely no doubt," he said.

"I had him with David [Gray] and Etzaz [Hussain] who is playing for me tomorrow.

"That just shows how far the kid has come. Paul is a fantastic kid so hopefully we can build the team around him and keep him."

Solskjær's first match in charge of United will be against Cardiff City on Saturday.

"Manchester United is in my heart and it's brilliant to be coming back in this role," he said.

"I'm really looking forward to working with the very talented squad we have, the staff and everyone at the club."
