Only two former Manchester United managers will have a higher win percentage than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after 100 games.

The Norwegian will reach the historic milestone when his United side host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Solskjaer has come under criticism ever during his stint as manager of United but his win ratio, Tim Sherwood's favourite statistic, is actually quietly impressive.

Since taking charge of the Red Devils, Solskjaer's win percentage is 56%. He's won 55 out of 99 games, drawing 21 and losing 23.

"Of course, I'm surprised it's 100 - it's gone really quickly, even though a lot has happened," Solskjaer reflected, as per Manchester United's official website.

"Let's hope I can celebrate no.100 with a good performance and a win. I've enjoyed it so far."

Sir Alex Ferguson, the most decorated manager in Premier League history with 13 titles, took a while to get going at United and his win percentage from his first century of games is 48% - made up of 48 wins, 31 draws and 21 losses.

The Scot finds himself in seventh position on the all-time list, behind his predecessor Ron Atkinson, Sir Matt Busby and Louis Van Gaal.

But it's the man who was replaced by Solskjaer who occupies second spot. Despite his critics, Jose Mourinho's United win percentage after 100 games is 62%. He won 62 games, drew 21 and tasted defeat 15 times.

Only Ernest Mangnall, United manager between 1903 and 1912, is ahead of the Portuguese boss by a very narrow margin.

He was victorious in 64 of his first 100 games, drawing 23 and losing 13 to give him an overall win percentage of 64%.
