Real Sociedad Manager Imanol Alguacil Entered 'Supporter Mode' And Sang In Club Shirt During Press Conference

Real Sociedad manager Imanol Alguacil celebrated his side's Copa del Rey triumph with one of the best post-match press conferences ever.
Sociedad beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in the final on Saturday to win their first major trophy in 34 years.
And life-long fan Alguacil couldn't contain his excitement as he faced the media after he guided his boyhood club to glory.
In the middle of his press conference, the 49-year-old asked to be excused from 'coaching mode' to enter 'supporter mode' for a moment.

He put on a Sociedad shirt over his attire then burst out singing.
He sang: "This is for all of you, Guipuzcoa! For all those who feel the Real! Come on Real! Real! Come on, Goazen!"

Alguacil wasn't done there as he began to clap in an incredibly passionate celebration.

The former defender started his career at Sociedad and broke into the first team in 1990. He played over 100 games in an eight-year spell.
Alguacil returned to the club in the shape of a coaching gig, managing the youth team before becoming permanent manager in 2018.

Sociedad and Bilbao played out last season's Copa del Rey final following an agreement.
Bilbao will actually compete in the showpiece fixture again later this month in this season's final against Barcelona.
