Wesley Sneijder was so incensed at being shown a red card in a recent game, he repeatedly said, "This is the last game I play in Qatar!" as he left the field.
The 34-year old Dutchman is plying his trade with Al Gharafa and scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Qatar SC on Thursday.
But the game didn't end well for the former Inter Milan and Ajax man as he was shown a straight red for an incredibly innocuous challenge on the opposition goalkeeper in stoppage time.
Wearing the captain's armband, Sneijder was in total disbelief when the referee brandished the red and had a massive meltdown when he left the pitch - vowing to never play another game in Qatar and pointing his finger.
Sneijder joined Al Gharafa back in January and has seven goals in nine appearances this season. After his frustrated outburst began to do the rounds, the former Real Madrid midfielder took to Twitter to clarify his comments and says he has no plans to leave the Middle East.
In September, Sneijder officially retired from international football after 134 caps for the Netherlands and he had the most incredible farewell.
