Dimitar Berbatov is playing in midfield nowadays and he reminds us of a Zinedine Zidane and Paul Scholes hybrid. No seriously, it looks like the 37-year-old has been bossing the centre for years.

The former Manchester United striker now plays his football in the Indian Super League with Kerala Blasters FC after a year without a club.

Berbatov has started well since moving in August and during last night's game at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, the veteran produced a sublime performance against ATK.

The club even posted his individual highlights on their Twitter earlier. Sit back, relax and watch the master at work:

Is this the most chilled out, effortless performance you've ever seen or what? Dimitar makes it look way too easy throughout.

Kerala Blasters FC manager David James came up against AIK last night and another former Manchester United player featured in the game.

Tom Thorpe, who made just one senior appearance at Old Trafford, became the latest player to move to the Indian Super League back in September, signing for Atletico de Kolkata.

Atletico are managed by former Manchester United and Spurs hero Teddy Sheringham, and the former England international has a few household names in his squad.

Bolton Wanderers legendary goalkeeper Jussi Jääskeläinen, who also turned out for West Ham and Wigan Athletic, signed with the Bengal Tigers, while well-travelled striker Robbie Keane made Atletico the 11th club of his career - though he can't say he supported them as a young boy in this instance as they were only formed in 2014.

Thorpe, who came through the United youth academy and was captain of the reserve side when they won the Under 21 Premier League in 2012/13, only made one first-team appearance as a substitute in a win over West Ham in 2014/15 under Louis van Gaal.

He was released in 2015 and joined Rotherham United, then playing in the Championship.

The England youth international made just 10 appearances in two seasons for the Millers and spent time on loan at Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers, making 25 appearances for the latter in 2016/17 as the club achieved promotion to the Championship.

But lets concentrate on the main man, Berbatov, who even scored a sublime volley against AIK.

Take a bow, Dimitar. You've still got it at the age of 37.
