Serie A have officially postponed all of it's fixtures today following the tragic death of Fiorentina's Davide Astori.
The Italian international was found dead in his hotel room where he was with his team ahead of the Udinese league game, aged just 31.
Sunday's fixture between Udinese vs. Fiorentina was subsequently canceled, and the Italian top flight have now cancelled the rest of the games which includes the Milan derby.

Today's seven league games will be rescheduled.
Italian Players Association head Damiano Tommasi suggested the request, with the league obliging.

Fiorentina released the following statement regarding the sudden death of their skipper: "The Italian club released the following statement: "Fiorentina are profoundly shaken and forced to announce that their captain Davide Astori has died.
"For this terrible and delicate situation, and above all out of respect for his family, we appeal to the sensitivity of the media."
The midfielder was a stalwart in Italy, playing for the likes of Cagliari, AS Roma and Fiorentina.

He's also been capped 14 times by the Italian national team, scoring one goal.
