Sergio Ramos oozed pure class during Spain's 3-0 victory against Sweden after he selflessly passed the ball to Álvaro Morata for a penalty.

The polarising Spain captain opened the scoring from the spot kick and had the opportunity to complete his brace when his side were awarded another penalty.

But as soon as the Real Madrid star caught the ball, he immediately turned to Morata and presented him with it.

The Atlético Madrid striker, who is on loan from Chelsea, was surprised by the offer from Ramos and stepped up.

Morata fired home the penalty in the 85th minute at the Santiago Bernabéu and immediately went over to thank the 33-year-old Spanish centre-back for his humble move.

After the match, Morata told reporters he was surprised that Ramos wanted him to take the penalty.

"I did not even ask him [about the penalty] because Sergio always wants to put all the possible goals," he said (via Goal).

"But he has made an incredible gesture. I thank him and he knows what I think of him."

Ramos continued to show his fine for Spain during their Euro 2020 qualifiers, only days after he shattered the record for most international wins.

The Los Blancos skipper, who will remain at Madrid next season, has scored in his last eight matches for his country.

And that goalscoring form has also helped him climb to 11th in Spain's all-time record scorers and is only three behind from catching up to Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stéfano.

Luis Enrique's side maintain their 100 per cent winning record in the Euro 2020 qualifiers as they remain at the top of Group F.
