Scott Brown and Glen Kamara shared a classy embrace following the vile racist abuse suffered by the Rangers star.

The Celtic captain put their rivalry aside and showed his support to Kamara ahead of the Old Firm derby.

During the warm-up, Brown walked into Rangers' half and approached Kamara before hugging in a touching moment.

Kamara says he was racially abused by Ondrej Kudela during his side's Europa League clash with Slavia Prague on Thursday.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard backed the midfielder and trusts his claims of being racially abused.

As they await action, the Scottish champions have announced they will stop taking the knee as the club feel the protest does not really send out a strong enough message.

Rangers and Celtic players stood instead of taking the knee prior to kick-off.

Dundee United also scrapped taking the knee prior to their league match in support of Kamara.

After kick-off, they tweeted: "We stand today with Glen Kamara, and others who suffer at the hands of racism.

"Today's decision to stand rather than take the knee is a show of solidarity by our players to enhance the message that racism in any form is unacceptable and has no place anywhere in society.
