Mohamed Salah picked up his deserved PFA Player of the Year at the PFA Awards' ceremony last night but he wanted to ensure his Liverpool team on the whole was represented.

'The Egyptian King' pipped Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne to the impressive accolade after scoring 31 goals and counting in his second crack at the Premier League.

But the 25-year old is very much a team player. Not only has he laid on nine assists for his colleagues in the league, he wanted his teammates to get some recognition at the ceremony last night.

According to James Carroll, editor for the official Liverpool FC website, Salah asked for his captain, Jordan Henderson, to be in attendance.

Manager Jurgen Klopp was more than happy to agree to Salah's request and so Henderson turned up at the Grosvenor House Hotel alongside the former Roma winger.

Just when you thought you couldn't love Salah anymore!

He gave a brilliant speech when he collected his award, including a cheeky and honest response when asked if he dreamt that his season would go so well.

Then, he fulfilled the wishes of young fan and honoured guest of the awards, Moin Younis.

Younis, who won the Teenager of Courage category at the Pride of Britain Award last year, wanted to meet Salah last night and the Liverpool attacker granted The 17-year-old his wish within seconds, he and Henderson popping over for a chat.
